HUMANKINE G4 DC Generation Media Kit is the complete solution for the generation of DCs with high antigen presenting capacity. The protocol is straightforward and is more convenient that traditional protocols in that media changes (or cytokine refreshment) are not required. Your media requirements will be lower since 100 mls of HUMANKINE medium is sufficient for the complete culture of 5x10⁷ cells or 10 culture plates at 10ml each (at a starting concentration of 5x10⁵ cells/ml). The kit includes all the key medium components including a special cytokine suplement in cocktail form. The cytokines provided are key to the exceptional results because of their high potency and stability at incubation temperatures.

Product

The Kit consists of RPMI 1640 standard media and includes the following suplements:

• 2 mM glutamine
• 25 mM HEPES
• 100 U/ml penicillin
• 100 µg/ml streptomycin

Included is a cocktail of IL-4HuXp and GM-CSFHuXp

The following are not included and are to be supplied by the research laboratory:

• 50 µM 2-ME
• 10% FBS
