Complete Product Satisfaction Guarantee
- Stratech is proud to offer a replacement or money back satisfaction guarantee for all products purchased directly from Stratech Scientific.
- Guarantee is valid for 6 months from receipt of goods, or the stated shelf life of the product.
- Customers must supply details of purchase order / invoice number when notifying us of a problem.
- For a replacement or refund of the product, customers must contact our technical support team technical@stratech.co.uk with full details of their protocol, resulting data and including images where possible. Our Technical support team will then work with the manufacturer to determine whether the problem is protocol or product related.
- Guarantee can only relate to protocols making use of the product in applications stated as suitable on the product spec / datasheet and/or tested by the manufacturer. Use of products for any application not stated by the manufacturer or on the accompanying documentation cannot be covered by this guarantee.
- If deemed protocol related, our team will make suggestions and/or recommendations.
- If deemed product related, a full refund or replacement will be provided as soon as is practical.

Plastic Packaging Tax (PPT)
(PPT) Statement for Stratech
At Stratech, we are committed to complying with the UK Plastic Packaging Tax (PPT) regulations introduced by HMRC. This tax applies to plastic packaging that contains less than 30% recycled content and is either manufactured in or imported into the UK.
The nature and stability of many our life science reagents for healthcare research are only viable when frozen at extremely cold temperatures such as -80 degrees Centigrade. During international transit and importation they may need to be kept at this temperature for several days until they reach the Uk and subsequently the Researcher. Currently the only method of keeping these valuable reagents at this temperature is in dry ice and a polystyrene container. Whilst we strive to find equally as suitable containers that are not polystyrene, or that does not involve air freighting returned empty containers around the world, there are no equivalents at this timepoint. Whilst we continue in our search for alternatives, we ensure that all of our packaging is recycled and disposed of appropriately.
As a small or medium-sized enterprise (SME), we ensure that:
- We assess the recycled content of all plastic packaging used in our products.
- We work with suppliers to increase the use of sustainable and recyclable materials.
- We maintain accurate records of the plastic packaging we manufacture or import to ensure compliance with HMRC requirements.
- We remain committed to reducing our environmental impact by exploring eco-friendly alternatives and improving our packaging sustainability.
