Hybridoma Reagent Laboratory's mission is to produce well-documented murine monoclonal antibodies specific for the human immunoglobulins (IgG PAN, IgG1, IgG2, IgG3, IgG4, IgM, IgA and IgE), the human light chains (kappa and lambda) and human secretory component.

These reagents are provided as capture antibodies for use in capture based immunoassays and as biotin or peroxidase-conjugated detection antibodies for use in non-isotopic immunoassays of human antibodies.

*The human IgG subclass enzyme immunoassays may be developed with a biotinylated poly-monoclonal anti-human IgG reagent, anti-kappa/lambda light chain reagent or a polyclonal mouse anti-human IgG reagent.

Capture antibodies are to be used at 10 micrograms per ml (1:200 dilution) in PBS-no protein for coating and detection antibodies are to be used at 1 microgram per ml (1:1000 dilution) in PBS-1% bovine serum albumin.

Horseradish Peroxidase Labeled Monoclonal Antibodies

Monoclonal antibodies specific for human IgG PAN (IgG1/2/3/4), IgA PAN (IgA1/2) and human IgM have been directly conjugated with horseradish peroxidase (HRP) using the Nakane/Kawaoi procedure. These antibodies are supplied at 1 mg/ml in 0.5 ml aliquots and should be diluted from 1:2000 to 1:8000 for use in immunoassays. These antibodies are being used in an internationally documented protocol for the measurement of human IgG, IgA and IgM antibodies specific for pneumococcal polysaccharides.
