SYBR Safe DNA Gel Stain is a very sensitive stain for the visualisation of both DNA and RNA in agarose or acrylamide gels. It is a less toxic alternative to ethidium bromide and can be used with either blue-light or UV excitation. SYBR Safe is provided as 10,000x concentrate in DMSO and used in the same way as ethidium bromide solution.
