Description: PS/2 is an anti-mouse/human monoclonal antibody that forms an immune complex with the CD49d antigen. CD49d (sometimes called α4 integrin, Integrin α4 chain, VLA-4 α chain or Integrin alpha-4) is a 150 kD glycoprotein that is found on the surface of cells such as NK cells, dendritic cells and macrophages. CD49d is associated with a variety of biologically interesting macromolecules/ligands, for instance, Paxillin and CD106. CD49d is a fairly uncommon antibody target, with a little more than 3400 publications in the last decade. Even still, CD49d is vital to cell biology and immunology research, frequently serving as a phenotypic marker for differentiating cell types in flow cytometric applications. This antibody was purified through affinity chromatography and conjugated to mFluor™ Violet 510 (ex/em = 412/505 nm). It is compatible with the 405 nm laser and 525/50 nm bandpass filter (for example, as in the Miltenyi Biotec MACSQuant Analyzer 16).
