Description: ASC-1 is an anti-human monoclonal antibody that targets the CD49c antigen. CD49c (sometimes called ITGA3) is a 150 kD member of the integrin family that is expressed on the surface of cells like B cells, T cells and epithelial cells. CD49 is associated with a variety of biologically interesting macromolecules/ligands, for instance, laminin, CD9 and collagen. CD49 is a relatively rare antibody target, with fewer than 600 publications in the last decade. Even still, CD49c has a variety of applications in neuroscience and immunology research, commonly serving as a phenotypic marker for differentiating cell types in flow cytometric applications. This antibody was purified through affinity chromatography and conjugated to iFluor® 532 (ex/em = 537/560 nm). It is compatible with the 532 nm laser and 575/25 nm bandpass filter (for example, as in the Luminex Guava easyCyte).
