Description: The FN50 monoclonal antibody binds to human CD69, a 32 kD transmembrane protein frequently found on the surface of thymocytes and granulocytes. CD69 is associated with a variety of biologically interesting macromolecules/ligands. CD69 is a very popular antibody target, with over 21000 publications in the last decade. CD69 is often used in flow cytometry applications as a phenotypic marker for differentiation of cell types, particularly in the study of immunology and costimulatory molecules. This antibody was purified through affinity chromatography and conjugated to XFD555 (ex/em = 553/568 nm). XFD555 is manufactured by AAT Bioquest, and it has the same chemical structure of Alexa Fluor® 555 (Alexa Fluor® is the trademark of ThermoFisher). It is compatible with the 561 nm laser and 572/28 nm bandpass filter (for example, as in the Agilent Technologies NovoCyte Advanteon).
