Description: 5E10 is an anti-pig/ horse/ human/ non-human primates monoclonal antibody that forms an immune complex with the CD90 antigen. CD90 (alternatively called Thy-1) is a 25 - 35 kD member of the Ig superfamily that is found on the surface of cells such as endothelial cells and stem cells. CD90 is associated with a variety of biologically interesting macromolecules/ligands, namely, fyn and p100. CD90 is a moderately popular antibody target, with over 15000 publications in the last decade. CD90 is vital to immunology research, often serving as a phenotypic marker for differentiating cell types in flow cytometric applications. This antibody was purified through affinity chromatography and conjugated to PE/XFD700 (ex/em = 566/721 nm). XFD700 is manufactured by AAT Bioquest, and it has the same chemical structure of Alexa Fluor® 700 (Alexa Fluor® is the trademark of ThermoFisher). It is compatible with the 561 nm laser and 710/50 nm bandpass filter (for example, as in the BD LSRFortessa™ X-20).
