Description: CD25 is IL-2 receptor α chain (IL-2Rα which is a low-affinity receptor of IL-2. CD25 forms high-affinity IL-2 receptors associating with CD122 (β chain) and CD132 (γc chain). CD25 is expressed in activated T cells and B cells. Increse of CD25 in serum is observed in individuals suffer adult T cell leukemia or malignant lymphoma.
