Description: R2.525 is an anti-human monoclonal antibody that forms an immune complex with the CD112 antigen. CD112 (also known as PVRL2, Nectin-2 or HVEB) is a glycoprotein that is located on the surface of cells such as macrophages and epithelial cells. CD112 is associated with a variety of biologically interesting macromolecules/ligands, in particular, PRR3, CD112 and afadin. CD112 is a relatively rare antibody target, with fewer than 600 publications in the last decade. Even still, CD112 is essential for immunology research, frequently serving as a phenotypic marker for differentiating cell types in flow cytometric applications. This antibody was purified through affinity chromatography and conjugated to PE/XFD700 (ex/em = 566/721 nm). XFD700 is manufactured by AAT Bioquest, and it has the same chemical structure of Alexa Fluor® 700 (Alexa Fluor® is the trademark of ThermoFisher). It is compatible with the 561 nm laser and 720/60 nm bandpass filter (for example, as in the Bio-Rad ZE5 Cell Analyzer).
