Description
Description: The J116 monoclonal antibody binds to human CD279, a 50 - 55 kD member of the Ig superfamily commonly located on the surface of B cells and thymocytes. CD279 is associated with a variety of biologically interesting macromolecules/ligands, for instance, PDL1. CD279 is a relatively rare antibody target, with fewer than 1000 publications in the last decade. Even still, CD279 is typically used in flow cytometry applications as a phenotypic marker for differentiation of cell types, especially in the study of inhibitory molecules, cancer biomarkers and immunology. This antibody was purified through affinity chromatography and conjugated to XFD750 (ex/em = 752/776 nm). XFD750 is manufactured by AAT Bioquest, and it has the same chemical structure of Alexa Fluor® 750 (Alexa Fluor® is the trademark of ThermoFisher).
