Description: Asymmetric dimethylation of arginine (aDMA) is a post-translational modification catalyzed by type I arginine methyltransferase enzymes and found on many proteins,including RNA binding proteins and histones. Asym26 recognizes ADMA present at GAR (glycine-arginine rich sequences).
