The microparticles are equipped with a 3D-Carboxy Matrix for non-covalent coupling (immobilization) of positively charged biochemical species (compounds) via electrostatic adsorption. The 3D-Carboxy matrix is equipped with an incorporated antifouling matrix which reduces unspecific binding.
