CD8 is a dimer formed of either two alpha chains, or an alpha chain and a beta chain.Mouse anti Chicken CD8 beta antibody, clone EP42 is specific for Chicken CD8b, binding to an epitope expressed on the CD8b chain, available only on cells expressing alpha/beta heterodimers.
