Description: TCR gamma/delta is expressed on peripheral blood T cells. In the chicken TCR g/d is more widely expressed than in mammals, approximately 20-25% of total blood T cells being gamma/delta +ve , in young birds (age around 6 months) this figure can rise to nearly 50%.
