Description

Description: MaxLight™ 490 is a new Blue-Green photostable dye conjugate comparable to DyLight™488, Alexa Fluor™488 and offers better labeling efficiency, brighter imaging and increased immunodetection. Absorbance (491nm); Emission (515nm); Extinction Coefficient 73,000. Lactate dehydrogenase (LDH) contains two isoforms in mammals, LDH M and LDH H, which come together to form a homotetramer of 36kD subunits. LDH is often as a marker for tissue breakdown or cytotoxicity. LDH shows cytoplasm localization. Lactate dehydrogenase (LDH) of malaria parasites is immunologically distinct from the host enzyme. Hence use of specific antibodies can be used to detect the parasite in humans.
