Description: MaxLight™650 is a new Far-IR stable dye conjugate comparable to Alexa Fluor™647, DyLight™649, Cy5™ and offers better labeling efficiency, brighter imaging and increased immunodetection. Absorbance (655nm); Emission (676nm); Extinction Coefficient 250,000. Recognizes a cell surface antigen of 65-80kD which is similar to the human cell surface antigen designated as CD16. It has therefore been hypothesized that may recognize the ovine homologue of human CD16 (Hopkins, J. et. al. 1996). Recognizes an antigen that is strongly expressed by ovine alveolar macrophages and peripheral blood granulocytes, and more weakly by monocytes and other tissue macrophages.
