Description: FAM, TET, VIC, JOE, NED, TAMRA and ROX fluorescent dyes are frequently used for labeling oliogs. These fluorescent oligo conjugates are often used for nucleic acid sequencing and nucleic acid amplification. Our Helix Fluor™ 545 is an excellent alternative to the VIC dye for preparing fluorescent oligos as they have almost identical spectral properties. Compared to VIC, Helix Fluor™ 545 is much more water-soluble.
