Specificity
Rat control peptide is 100% conserved in rat ABCG-8 isoforms 1-3. It is 65% in mouse ABCG8 and no appreciable conservation in human ABCG8. Antibody reactivity and actual expression of various protein isoforms and their physiological relevance is not understood. Antibody cross-reactivity in various species has not been studied.
