Application Notes

YTH470.5 was used for IF, Activation (via complement mediated cell lysis), and WB as part of the testing performed in its original article (Bindon et al., 1988; PMID: 2973413). This antibody was also used as a positive control for blocking, as measured by FC, to analyze integrin expression on the surface of primary cultures of human airway smooth muscle cells (Freyer et al., 2001; PMID: 11713098). Furthermore, it was used as a primary monoclonal antibody in the immunocytochemistry analysis - IF, specifically - of human neuronal stem cells (Lee et al., 2005; PMID: 15607744).

This chimeric human antibody was made using the variable domain sequences of the original Rat IgG2b format, for improved compatibility with existing reagents, assays and techniques.
