Application Notes
This antibody binds to human Transglutaminase 2, an enzyme that catalyzes the isopeptide bond formation between an amine group and an acyl group at the end of the side chain of a glutamine. Anti-TG2 antibody are found in celiac disease and high levels of transglutaminase are found in Huntington's and Parkinson's.
