Application Notes
This antibody detects CD43 on lymphoid cells, and can be used to label thymocytes, lymphocytes from the bone marrow and thoracic duct lymphocytes (Williams et al, 1977). Similarly, W3/13 can be used in immunohistochemical staining, enabling the elucidation of the cellular organisation of lymph nodes (Barclay, 1981).

This chimeric rat antibody was made using the variable domain sequences of the original Mouse IgG1 format, for improved compatibility with existing reagents, assays and techniques.
