Application Notes
This antibody binds to the B domain of the E2 glycoprotein of alphaviruses and protects against disease and virus dissemination in vivo (Pal et al., 2013; PMID: 23637602) (Fox et al., 2015; PMID: 26553503). The antibody detected CHIKV E2 secretion by AP-61 and C6/36 mosquito cell lines by western blot analysis (Tsai et al., 2023; PMID: 36434113).
