Application Notes
This antibody can be used to detect the TCR beta chain in a majority (50-75%) of T-cell receptors by flow cytometry, immunofluorescence and can immunoprecipitate the TCR beta protein (variant 1). Recently it has been combined into a chimeric antigen antigen receptor therapy approach to selectively deplete a subset of T-cells in T-cell lymphomas or leukaemias, whilst leaving the non-reactive T-cell subset intact.

This chimeric rabbit antibody was made using the variable domain sequences of the original Mouse IgG2a format, for improved compatibility with existing reagents, assays and techniques.
