Application Notes
This antibody has been used for the analysis of the expression of the CR1 receptor on macrophages isolated from the peritoneal effluents of CAPD patients with peritonitis and human leukemia-derived CD4+ T cell lines by flow cytometry (Hart et al., 1992; PMID: 1606734) (Yaskanin and Waxman, 1995; PMID: 7758124). This antibody was used in immune adherence (IA) binding and release assays (Edberg et al., 1992; PMID: 1376254). This antibody was used in in vivo clearance experiments (Taylor et al., 1997; PMID: 9000042). An scFv version of this antibody was generated, its pharmacokinetics were evaluated, and it was shown to bind mouse mixed lymphocytes and bone marrow-derived dendritic cells in an ELISA and to bind CR1-expressing mouse bone marrow-derived dendritic cells via immunofluorescence labeling (Knight et al., 2008; PMID: 18385459).
