Short Description
This chimeric mouse antibody was made using the variable domain sequences of the original Rabbit IgG format, for improved compatibility with existing reagents, assays and techniques.
Application Notes
This antibody presented a superior sensitivity towards parent THC (Δ9-THC) and its metabolites in comparison with many other anti-THC antibodies tested in ELISA and lateral flow immunoassay. As a result, this antibody might be used in THC detection methods from saliva samples, which would be a preferable, easy way of substance-abuse screening. It can also be potentially utilized in the clinic to treat THC overdose (US7749772B1).
