Application Notes

This antibody is recommended for the detection and analysis of beta-catenin via various methods, such as Western blot, flow cytometry and immunofluorescence of cells and tissues. For instance, the antibody 15B8 was utilized in labelling beta-catenin in oral mucosa samples via immunohistochemistry (Das et al., 2013). Another group used this antibody in the identification of beta-catenin in extracts from K562 cells via Western blots (Kotula et al., 2014). Furthermore, this antibody was applied during immunohistochemistry stainings of transverse sections taken through the midbrain region of 8-9ss embryos (Schiffmacher et al., 2016). Finally,beta-catenin is a very popular marker used to outline the cell membrane, this antibody might be utilized for such purposes (Zhang et al., 2017).
