3F12 can be used to identify canine ICOS and analyse its activity. The antibody is an antagonist of ICOS and exhibits the ability to significantly suppress mixed leukocyte reactions (MLR) (Sato et al., 2013; pmid: 23694952). Anti-ICOS antibody was also shown to be an effective agent that can be used in the treatment development of Canine Chronic Graft-versus-Host Disease (GVHD) (Graves et al., 2017; pmid: 28958896).
This chimeric dog antibody was made using the variable domain sequences of the original Mouse IgG2a format, for improved compatibility with existing reagents, assays and techniques.
