Short Description
This chimericoat human antibody was made using the variable domain sequences of the original Mouse IgG1 format, for improved compatibility with existing reagents, assays and techniques.
Application Notes
The specificity of this antibody to the CH3 domain of human IgA was determined using western blotting (Biewenga et al., 1986; PMID: 3093370). This recombinant antibody can be used to determine sIgA in a sample using ELISA (Biewenga et al., 1991; PMID: 1872572). It can be used for the affinity purification of IgA from serum (Oortwijn et al., 2006; PMID: 16395264 and 17050773).
