Immunofluorescence was preformed with this antibody in the brain of mice. Here it was bound to both yellow and green fluorescent protein (Kumar et al, 2015; PMID:25337655). This antibody was used for immunoprecipitation on Elav-GAL4, 50Y-GAL4, UAS-eGFP, The UAS-GFP and RpL10A fly strains of the genus Drosophila (Thomas et al, 2012; PMID:22792260). Western blotting was preformed with this antibody on samples of Elav-GAL4, 50Y-GAL4, UAS-eGFP, The UAS-GFP and RpL10A fly strains of the genus Drosophila (Thomas et al, 2012; PMID:22792260). Immunohistochemistry was preformed on zebrafish to visualize GFP (Mackenzie and Raible, 2012; PMID:23094043). Immunoprecipitation using this antibody was preformed on the sciatic nerves of rats infected with an adenovirus containing a GFP construct (Chang et al, 2014; PMID:25362471).
This chimeric human antibody was made using the variable domain sequences of the original Mouse IgG2a format, for improved compatibility with existing reagents, assays and techniques.
