Application Notes
This antibody can be used in combination with 6G1 to detect iC3b in a sanwich ELISA. This antibody was used to identify iC3b using immunoprecipitation. This antibody can successfully stain human bruch's membrane/choroid tissues samples from patients having age related macular degeneration (AMD). It was able to identify drusen associated with bruch's membrane in stage 3 and 4 AMD tissues (US20140127225).
