Application Notes
The scFv version of this antibody binds estradiol with an affinity of 3.7nM in and ELISA. To assess its physical characteristics the binding affinity of this antibody was also measured using SPR on estradiol using the scFv version of this antibody (Vaughan et al, 1996; pmid:9630891). To test the binding of this antibody, an ELISA was performed on either thyroglobulinoestradiol, BSA-oestriol or BSA using the scFv version of this antibody. Further the rate of association and dissociation was determined using surface plasmon resonance. This was performed with estradiol as antigen and the scFv version of this antibody (Pope et al, 1996; pmid:9373313).
