Application Notes
This antibody is recommneded for the detection and analysis of ssRNA and ds RNAs. It can be also used to research new anti-viral strategies. To analyze the antigen specificity of this antibody, an ELISA was performed on bio-rRNA using the scFv version of this antibody. Furthermore, the gene for the scFv variant of this antibody was expressed in tabacco plants, this allowed the plants to slow down a CMV infection (Morgun et al, 2006; pmid:16841475).
