Application Notes
The specificity of the original format of the antibody was confirmed by ELISA analysis. The antibody detected the envelope protein domain IIII by western blot analysis. The antibody was employed to perform IFA assay to detect WNV in Vero cells. The antibody exhibited significant neutralizing activity, and completely blocked 100 pfu WNV infection in Vero cells at a concentration 80 µg/ml (Duan et al., 2009; PMID: 2050585).
