This antibody can bind protein N of canine distemper virus in a western blot. Indirect immunofluorescence assay demonstrated that they could recognize native N protein in CDV-infected Vero cells (PMID: 24555938). The antigen binding affinity of the scFv antibody was done using ELISA (PMID: 26301925). Alignment analysis of the amino acid sequences indicated that the epitope that this antibody binds is highly conserved among CDV strains (PMID: 26514066).
