Application Notes
The specificity of the scFv-Fc format of the antibody was confirmed by ELISA analysis. The scFv-Fc version of the antibody detected GPRV by western blot analysis. The scFv-Fc version of the antibody bound specifically to the membranes of PV11 infected Vero cells in an immunofluorescence assay. The scFv-Fc version of the antibody neutralized the PV11 strain in a standard in vivo neutralization assay where the virus was incubated with the scFv-Fc fragment before intracranial inoculation in mice (Ray et al., 2001; PMID: 11472431).
