Application Notes
The antibody bound to the second domain of MAdCAM-1 and did not block MAdCAM-1-dependent binding in vitro (Streeter et al., 1988; PMID:3340147). The antibody was used for immunohistochemical analysis of healthy AKR control mice and it showed faint basal expression of MAdCAM-1 in the terminal ileum (Bachmann et al. 2006). The antibody blocked interactions with L-selectin in vivo (Bargatze et al., 1995; PMID: 7542550).
