Application Notes
The original format of this antibody (human scFv) demonstrated distinct recognition patterns in an ELISA and immunoslotblot (ISB) assay. Recognition of keratin exposed to increased concentrations of SM exhibited a maximal signal at 250 µM SM, indicating specific recognition of alkylated amino acid sequences. However, recognition was reduced at higher exposure levels (500 µM and 1 mM) but remained higher than that of unexposed keratin (Bikker et al., 2007; PMID: 17539823).
