Application Notes
This antibody reacted with gH and gL in an ELISA. This antibody was also capable of reacting with gH:gL complex and VZV-infected cells. This antibody was used for the immunoperoxidase staining of VZV-infected human embryonic lung (HEL) cells. This antibody neutralized wild strains without showing strain specificity. This antibody was also reported to prevent the spreading of virus infection. This antibody was also capable of immunoprecipitating gH and gL glycoproteins of VZV (PMID: 17457901).
