Application Notes
The specificity of the original format of the antibody was confirmed by ELISA analysis (CN104404630A). The binding affinity of the VHH fragment to PCT was measured by surface plasmon resonance (Kd= 8.9 nM). The original format of the antibody was successfully used as a detection antibody, together with anti-PCT Nb2, for the development of a sandwich ELISA for the detection of PCT (Yan et al., 2015; PMID: 25944262).
