Application Notes
This antibody was used in a quantitative precipitin assay, a hemagglutination assay (HA), inhibition assays (by ELISA). In the HA with human erythrocytes, the antibody reacted with the A1 and A2 subtypes (showing double the sensitivity towards the A1 subtype) (Chen and Kabat, 1985; PMID: 2414276). The structure of the scFv version of this antibody was determined via crystallization (Thomas et al., 2002; PMID: 11679577).
