Short Description

This chimeric human antibody was made using the variable domain sequences of the original Mouse IgG2b format, for improved compatibility with existing reagents, assays and techniques.

Application Notes

The original version of this antibody was used to immunoprecipitate HLAII-DP from the detergent lysate of radioiodinated REH6 cells (Horeji et al., 1988; PMID:3187993). This antibody was used for immunofluorescence on B-lymphoblastoid, lymphoma and non-T, non-B leukemia cell lines (Polakova et al., 1985; PMID:3911080). This antibody was used for an ELISPOT assay on CD4+ T cells co-cultured with various stimulators (Demachi-Okamura et al., 2008; PMID:18754877). This antibody was used for flow cytometry on Hepatocytes (Guo et al., 2003; PMID:12717860), and on human PBMCs (Haylett et al., 2009; PMID:19544309). This antibody was also used in vitro on Raji cells to induce ERK1/2 activation (Haylett et al., 2009; PMID:19544309).
