Application Notes
The original antibody was used for an neutralization assay on the RAW 264.7 cells with the P-domain of MNV-1 (Taube et al., 2010; PMID:20335262). Further a plaque neutralization assay was performed on either MNV-1.CW1* or MNV-1CW1*.fab2 (Taube et al., 2010; PMID:20335262), on MNV-1 (Kolawole et al., 2014; PMID:24501415), and on MNV-1.CW1 or MNV-1 brain homogenate (Wobus et al., 2004; PMID:15562321). The structure of the original antibody was determined using cryo-EM (Taube et al., 2010; PMID:20335262). This antibody was used for an ELISA on CsCl-purified MNV-1 particles (Wobus et al., 2004; PMID:15562321).

This chimeric rabbit antibody was made using the variable domain sequences of the original Mouse Fab format, for improved compatibility with existing reagents, assays and techniques.
