Short Description
This chimeric rabbit antibody was made using the variable domain sequences of the original Mouse IgG1 format, for improved compatibility with existing reagents, assays and techniques.
Application Notes
The original antibody (mouse IgG1) was generated and confirmed to specifically recognize GAS M protein via ELISA. A colloidal gold-labeled version was successfully employed in a lateral flow assay (LFA) for GAS M protein detection. Additionally, it was used in a colloidal gold immunochromatographic assay (GICA) to detect multiple GAS M protein serotypes (M1, M3, M5, M6, M12, M18, and M24). A sensitivity evaluation using GICA determined a minimum detection limit of 8 x 10³ CFU/mL for serotype M6 Group A Streptococcus (CN118406142A).
