This chimeric rabbit antibody was made using the variable domain sequences of the original Human IgG1 format, for improved compatibility with existing reagents, assays and techniques.
This antibody was used for immunofluorescence on NR1-transfected HEK cells. This antibody was used for flow cytometry on Hek cells, it showed positive staining. This antibody was used in vitro on human hippocampal neurons to determine the effect on calcium uptake, it showed a profoundly reduced NMDA-induced calcium influx (Kreye et al., 2016; PMID:27543972). This antibody was used for flow cytometry on NR1-EYFP-transfected HEK293 cells (Ly et al., 2018; PMID:30187160). This antibody was used for immunohistochemistry on mouse brains, it was able to quantify NR1 protein expression (Jurek et al., 2019; PMID:31325344). This antibody was used for an ELISA on the GluN1 subunit bound to a Fc domain and the GluN1-GluN2A subunit bound to a Fc domain, it showed binding to both (Steinke et al., 2023; PMID:36866449).
