Short Description

This is a reformatted human IgG1 Fc Silent Fc Silent™ antibody, based on the original human IgG4 format, created for improved compatibility with existing reagents, assays and techniques.

Application Notes

This antibody was used for an ELISA on human MCP-1, it showed binding. This antibody was tested in vitro on THP-1 cells for its ability to neutralize MCP1, it showed it was able to neutralize MCP-1, the concentration of antibody that yielded a 50% decrease in MCP-1 induced fluorescence intensity is 0.092 ug/mL. This antibody was used for surface plasmon resonance on human MCP-1. This antibody was used for a western blot on the human MCP-1 protein, to determine its epitope, it was shown that this antibody binds to a conformational epitope (US7687606B2).
