Short Description
This full-length, chimeric rabbit antibody was made using the variable domain sequences of the original Human scFv format, for improved compatibility with existing reagents, assays and techniques.
Application Notes
The specificity of this antibody was determined using it for an ELISA on C3D. A fusion protein of this antibody with CD59 was used for surface plasmon resonance on C3dg-biotin. This antibody was tested for its ability to inhibit the complement in vitro, it showed inhibitory activity. A fusion protein of this antibody with CD59 was used in vivo on a rheumatoid arthritis mouse model, it showed the ability to inhibit inflammation in a dose-dependent relationship, further it also showed improved survivability in MRL/lpr lupus erythematosus mice (WO2021109968A1).
