Short Description
This chimeric human antibody was made using the variable domain sequences of the original Mouse IgG1 format, for improved compatibility with existing reagents, assays and techniques.
Application Notes
The original version of this antibody was used for an ELISA to determine its specificity. This antibody was used for surface plasmon resonance to perform a kinetic analysis. This antibody was used for an inhibition assay, it showed that it was able to inhibit the binding of human, monkey, rat and mouse to AxI of the respective species, full inhibition was reached at 200 ng/mL to 50 ng/mL human Gas6. This antibody was used for a neutralization assay, it was shown that the antibody could completely inhibit the activation of the intracellular signalling pathway by Gas6, when the antibody and Gas6 are present in a 2:1 ratio (US10561727B2).
