Short Description

This chimeric rabbit antibody was made using the variable domain sequences of the original Human IgG1 format, for improved compatibility with existing reagents, assays and techniques.

Application Notes

This antibody was used to create a antibody drug conjugate with glucocorticoid payloads, it was used for a cellular assay using CD70-positive 786-O cells, it was shown that the antibody drug conjugate can increase GILZ mRNA expression in these cells (Kern et al., 2016; PMID:27469406, Kern et al., 2016; PMID:26745435). The uncialamycin ADC version of this antibody was tested for its ability to inhibit proliferation of 786-O cells, it showed that it was able to with IC50 partially dependent on the linker used (Chowdari et al., 2019; PMID:30579797). The original antibody was used for flow cytometry on human CD4 positive cells to determine receptor density (Mazor et al., 2015; PMID:25730144).
