Short Description
This chimeric human antibody was made using the variable domain sequences of the original Rabbit IgG format, for improved compatibility with existing reagents, assays and techniques.
Application Notes
The original antibody (rabbit IgG) was generated and confirmed to specifically recognize human thrombomodulin via ELISA. The binding affinity (KD) of this antibody to human thrombomodulin was measured to be 3.03 nM via SPR. This antibody was used together with Ab050xx as a capture antibody as part of an antibody pair in a sandwich ELISA, as each of them has a different epitope determinant. The reported detection sensitivity in the sandwich ELISA assay was 1.33 pg/ml. This antibody was used as the primary antibody for IHC staining of CD141 in formalin-fixed, paraffin-embedded tissue sections (i.e., IHC-P), and the primary stain in intracellular flow cytometry of THP-1 vs. Jurkat cells (CN117624367A).
